The Studio is taking every precaution to ensure the health and safety of our students and faculty. We will follow a variety of safety protocols.
What to do if you test positive for COVID-19
- If you receive a positive COVID test, please notify The Studio as soon as possible through our Covid Reporting Form.
- To determine your isolation period, Day 0 is the day of your positive test result. Day 1 is the day following your positive test result.
- You may return to class at the Studio after a 5 day isolation, or after a negative antigen (aka rapid) test result.
- If you return to class after 5 days, you must continue to mask until 5 days after your positive test.
(We recognize the CDC recently changed guidelines on quarantine duration. However, because the science is still emerging, we will continue to adhere to a 5 day isolation unless negative antigen test results are presented.)
What to do if you are exposed to COVID-19
- Wear a mask as soon as you find out you were exposed. Continue precautions for 10 full days.
- If you were exposed to COVID-19, and do not have symptoms, wait at least five full days after your exposure before testing.
- If you develop symptoms, isolate immediately, get tested, and stay home until you get the results.
Other Protocols
Safety Waiver
Each person entering the studio is required to complete our safety waiver. You will prompted to complete the waiver when you register for a course.
COVID-19 Protocols for Students
- Students should not have shown signs or symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Students showing any symptoms of Covid-19 will be asked to go home and may return once a medical professional has ruled out Covid-19.
- Students should not have had close or sustained contact with anyone who is sick within 14 days.
- If you, members of your family or close contacts have shown signs of illness (fever, coughing, fatigue), please do not come to class.
- A student with any fever will not be allowed to enter the studio.
- HEPA air purifiers will be running in the studio at all times.
As in all things throughout the pandemic, we are constantly monitoring the changing state of things, and responding in the most thoughtful and safest way that we can. As a reminder, if you are feeling ill, have a fever, or any other symptoms please do not come to class. Our utmost concern is the safety of your dancers.
