Athens Swing Central is dedicated to the study, social dancing, and performance of American Vernacular Swing Dance. Founded in 2021, and directed by Melissa Gogo, the group most often performs in the styles of Lindy Hop and West Coast Swing, but include the influences of other Swing-era styles including Tap, Charleston, Balboa, and Shag.
