Tarin Tripp

For many years I’d always felt the gentle tug and longing to do yoga. However, as a person in a big body, I didn’t think yoga was for me. After the passing of my mother in 2022 I was determined to break the generational curse of mobility issues she and grandmother experienced. I worked up enough courage to take my first class. It was a thing of beauty. Within the first 10 mins I knew I found what I was looking for and so much more. Through the practice of yoga I have transformed the landscape of who I am in deep and subtle ways. In June of 2025 I earned my 200hr yoga teaching certification on top of many, many hours of trainings, workshops and personal practice. I excitedly look forward to sharing this lifelong journey with you one class at a time.

Julia Turner

Julia Turner is a performer, choreographer, movement artist, and somatic enthusiast. She has been playing, performing, and choreographing with The Modern Pin-Ups since 2017. Her classes are a reclamation—of rhythm, of pleasure, of power—and are designed to awaken the parts of you that want to move freely and be seen. Through slow burns, technique exploration, and bold choreography, Julia welcomes dancers of all levels and backgrounds to play and move with self-reverence, full-bodied presence, and a hint of mischief. Oh, and bring kneepads…

Outside the studio, Julia works as a Somatic Therapist and Mythic Guide devoted to the sacred science of transformation. She lives at the crossroads of nervous system healing, quantum theory, and mystical tradition. She’s obsessed with how bodies tell stories, how metaphors shape reality, and how movement becomes magick.
